WE-DESIGNS seeks to engage a younger audience and create a more interactive experience for the book Digital Structure by integrating AR technology. This project requires a careful balance between interactivity and textual content to preserve the book’s educational value while enhancing engagement. Additionally, users must intuitively navigate the AR elements in a way that complements the reading experience without causing disruption.
The AR project aims to transform a traditional book into an interactive, immersive learning experience by integrating image tracking and 3D elements. By scanning specific book pages, users can access augmented content that enhances their understanding of architectural, spatial, and digital concepts.
Low-fidelity wireframes were developed to systematically map out AR interactions, ensuring a structured and intuitive experience. Additionally, interactive navigation flows were prototyped and tested to refine user interactions, ensuring a smooth and intuitive journey from scanning book pages to engaging with 3D content.
1. Augmented Reality-Enhanced Book – A seamless integration of printed text and interactive digital experiences.
2. Interactive 3D Assets – High-quality architectural models and animated sequences.
3. User Interaction Workflow – A smooth, intuitive navigation system guiding users through AR interactions.
This project redefined print media by transforming a traditional book into an interactive learning platform, bridging the gap between static text and dynamic digital experiences. By incorporating AR technology, it enhanced user engagement, creating an immersive environment that made architectural concepts more tangible and interactive. Through this seamless integration of digital and physical worlds, the book evolved into a hybrid educational tool, offering readers a more engaging and multidimensional understanding of its content.
